Ravi, son of an honest school teacher, convinces his family to try life in the city. Hema, a rich man's daughter, falls in love with Ravi. Ravi learns the secret of her falther's wealth and the corruption of the rich class. Ravi is framed for bribery by Hema's father and sent to prison. Upon his release, he finds great changes and tragedy in his family.
